Eid has been announced by IISNA, ASWJ, and Sydney's Lakemba masjid for tomorrow - Tuesday 30th of August. Based on the Moon Sighting in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Eid Prayer will be performed at Melbourne Show grounds 8AM Sharp!
However, RMITS scheduled it's Eid prayer on the knowledge of the Board of Imams, that Eid will be held on Wednesday 31st of August.
For those celebrating on Wednesday, Eid prayer will go ahead on Wednesday insha-Allah at 8.00AM SHARP! in the Male/Female Prayer rooms in Building 11.

The board of imams has announced the first day of Ramadan to be on Monday 1st August 2011.
Iftar will take place at RMIT Swanston St Prayer Rooms 3 days per week, Monday – Wednesday insha’Allah.
RMIT Islamic Society would like to wish everyone a Happy Ramadan.
May Allah SWT make this a month of forgiveness, mercy and protection of the hell fire for all ameen.

The worst droughts in 60 years have led to the worst humanitarian crisis IN THE WORLD in the Horn of Africa, where an estimated 10 MILLION PEOPLE are in need of urgent assistance.
